Dorito in the Headlights

Pseudo-sequel based on a comment I made on one of 's comics. It went something like:

 : [running] Surrender, Peridot!
 : [following] There's nowhere left to go!
 : Seriously, we're bored.
 : Aw, come on, P-Dot, can't we just be friends?
 : [hobbling] Never! Once Homeworld gets here, you Crystal Clods are toast!

[A portal suddenly appears behind her.]

 : See? Wait, that's not --

[Before she can finish, Rick's ship emerges and slams into Peridot, poofing her back into gem form. It swerves towards Steven and the others, but they manage to avoid it.]

Morty: [after the craft comes to a halt] Oh my god, Rick, y-you just killed a Gem! H-how am I supposed to live if we keep killing other cartoons?!

Rick: Relax Morty, I just hit that Do*burp*rito-headed one. They've been after her for, I dunno, months or something. Time moves differently here, okay, Morty? [to CGs]: You're welcome, holo-moms!
