The Demon and The Night

Wanted to do something for Halloween, and this was all I could come up with. I'm sure you've already noticed that I like Friendship is Magic, but not in THAT kind of way. Recently, however, I happened to come across an okay anime called Maoyuu Maou Yuusha (lit. Demon King and Hero), about a generic, nameless hero who teams up with the titular king/queen to stop a war via economics. I kid you not.

My Little Story:

While hunting down the dark forces responsible for the birth of Nightmare Moon (read about it somewhere), Luna makes contact with a ruler from another realm, known simply as the Demon King. Having an entire library with info on alternate universes, the King is well aware of who Luna is and agrees to help in her quest, provided the princess help her in return. Can the monarch be trusted, or is something worse lurking in the dark?
